Samsung 206bw ws mointor problem

I just picked up a samsung 206 bw ws monitor, the only ws resolution it will let me use in the game is 1650x1050, does anyone know how to get that to a lower ws resolution? I have a 8800 gt with the latest drivers
 
Are you sure you have the driver installed? If you're using the windows default monitor driver it might not be communicating with windows properly.
