This thing is bad-ass. I just got mine from BB for $320 - $40 (RWZ). I didn't want to wait for the rebate. Reviewers stated they were happy with it when it was $500.

Blows my Dell 2001FP out of the water. I took it to use at the office.

Buy.com has the monitor for $274.95 after rebate with free shipping too. It is a great monitor.

I'd rather use a 20" 4:3 than a 20" WS for gaming. I'd go for a 24" WS if it wasn't $700+

How newegg's LCD dead-pixel policy crushes the spirit :)

From their reviews on this:
*********************************
Disappointed

Pros: Very sharp and clear. Best looking monitor i've seen in my life time. However........

Cons: My monitor arrived with one dead pixel. Becuase this monitor is defective, I give an over all score of very poor.

Other Thoughts: When you spend this amount of money on anything, you expect a flawless product. Anything less is extremely disappointing.

********************************************

Pros: Large high resolution display and good response time.

Cons: Washed out display of colors can't be corrected. "Blue" is actually a purplish blue. Can't manage to get a decent neutral black on the display - always has the strange "blue" tint. Colors are blown out and washed out. Default settings are ridiculously high - contrast must be set very low to avoid blowing out detail. Limited viewing angle causes the "bottom is brighter than the top" phenomenon. Check that by raising your viewing angle.

A few dead pixels but that's to be expected. Unfortunately, no amount of adjustment from the controls corrects these issues.

Other Thoughts: Disappointing from Samsung since I became a fan of their LCD displays a long time ago.

There's a program out there that flashes all sorts of colors on your screen and sometimes that gets rid of dead pixels. my 19 inch FujiPlus came with several dead pixels and all i did was rub the screen with my shirt very very lightly for quite a while and it went away.

20" WS < 20" 4:3

Fixed! For working environments (photos), 4:3 is my preferred scale!

Do you happen to know what color? Mine is red and I've trying to massage it and it's a no go.

link?

My 2405fpw has a green stuck pixel on white - can't see it on black.

Also - concerning the non vs. widescreen - I also prefer 4:3. But for anyone who has a 24" 16:10, a 20" 4:3 is a perfect secondary monitor because it has the same height as a 24".

I'm not sure how this rates against the 2007FP, but I have to disagree with poster #1. I have the 2001FP and received my 204B 2 weeks ago from PC Connection. I have both sitting right next to each other, and both are connected via DVI. Very good pictures on both, but I prefer the Dell. It has better viewing angles and doesn't fade like the 204B does seem to. The 204B has less of the screen door effect, but I hardly notice it with my 2001FP. For the money though, the 204B at $265 or so kills my $700 spend on my 2001FP 2 years ago...
