Samsung 19" 931b vs Westy 22"

Both of these monitors will be on sale black friday at best buy. Which one is the better deal? I know you save more with the westy but does the samsung offer anything that sets it far above the westy? My main uses for the monitor would be a little of everything gaming, internet browsing, and movie watching.

Also, The westy would be bigger than my TV currently in my room I sit about 5 feet back when watching TV and about 10-11 ft when laying down in bed. Would either one of these be suitable for either of these positions? I know there are differences in pixel size between TV and monitors but I am unsure how much of a difference this makes in viewing distance.

I'm hoping I can get either one of these. I'll be there early but I am not waiting in any lines other than the checkout line.

The Samsung is cool because it's a better brand and also it has 2ms response time which is super fast. The Westy is good because it's huge.

My first pick is the Westy and if they don't have that then the Samsung. If they have neither I am getting the hell out of that madhouse and back home just as fast as I can.

Yeah I was hoping because this is part of the two day sale they would have a good many of them since they are not selling any online. I wonder how early you need to get there to pick up one? I have never been to our best buy on black friday I wonder if you have to camp out like you do for consoles?

i know for a fact that my bestbuy (huntsville, AL) will have at least 20 of the westy's (i saw them on the pallet), but i will probably still try and be there by 6 or so. (they open at 5) if i don't get that, i will be going to Compusa for the $229 22" samsung. OP, for what you want to use it for, i would go with the westinghouse.

I know for a fact that I have to camp out at the BB near me, it is pretty much the biggest one in the city and its close to the mall, target etc so there will be more people there. I am gonna head out around 3-4am and hope that the people b4 me are gonna try for the 19" Sammy on sale...

the samsung says sold out. should i even bother going to the store cuz i'l have to go by bus after 3 transfers. it;ll be worth it if i could get a $129 19' samsung though!!!

That is just online, they should have restocked their inventory b4 BF at their stores. But don't quote me on that... Question is though, when are you leaving to get there? If the buses don't run early and you get there later than 7 or 8, I don't think there might be any left. I know for a fact that some people just grab whatever they see that is on sale, even if they don't need it. Leaving those of us who actually want said items in the dust...

Dude, don't bother. Minimum 10 per store. Have you ever seen Best Buy on Black Friday? It's worse than the weekend before Christmas... utter madness and no ad specials to be found anywhere.
