Samsung 173p vs. 193p lcd

I've been searching around for lcd monitors and I think I've narrowed down my options to either the Samsung 173p or the 193p monitor. So far I see no reason to dislike these two. I was just wondering if there are any signficant benefits one has over the other. I all ready know Samsung's specs, like the contrast ratio is supposedly better for the 19" (800:1) over the 17" (700:1), the response time is also better. 19": 20ms vs. 17": 25 ms (I'm guessing the original 16ms was a typo for the 173p??). Do these really make the 193p the better choice for about 150 bucks more? -Thanks

if you can afford it, I would try the 193p first. I bought the 173P but returned it because the darks were compressed (couldn't destinguish black from dark grey). I could kinda fix this problem with correcting the gamma, but I couldn't get it to where I really liked it. I haven't gotten the 193P, but from what I hear it has really good color reproduction. Ghosting did show up on the 173p, but it didn't bother me. I could only really see it in max payne, but the black was really deep, so I liked that.

So if you can afford it, I don't think there is any disadvantage to get the 193p over the 173p.

Now i just need to find a place to scrounge up some money. And, i guess look around to see if lcd prices are expected to go down anytime soon :frown: But yeah, I'll post my review if/when i gets it.
