Drools.... Just short of what I need to buy 2 of these. I'm looking to do a dual LCD setup. Hopefully when I get enough, these will still be there.

How do you stack the two rebates together, i thought you would need the upc code for both rebates. Can any rebate savvy at'er shed some light on this?

seems to be OOS though.

Both rebates also apply for Chiefvalue.com and abspc.com as well. and they both list the 172X at 355.

Its only in stock at abspc.com and their reseller ratings are iffy.

Wow
I am glad I was so deperate for a monitor and didn't wait to long.
I printed out the rebates and one is original and one is for the copy of upc.
I am wondering if I should mail them together though or seperatly just in case they decide not to honor both.
Now if it just lasts 8 years like my Nec mutisync 17 did.

New price: $195.00. $345.00 -$80 & $70 MIR w/free shipping.
FWIW I got the Samsung N710-2 monitor from them about a month ago and absolutely love it.

UPDATE:

Price went up to $220 (AR), and it appears OOS everywhere.

On the bright side, I called Samsung and they confirmed that the rebates were stackable. w00t

I think a better question is will both rebates actually work? The $80 rebate says it needs a Copy of the UPC and CAN be combined with another Samsung Everyday Mail-in rebate promotion, while the $70 rebate need the real UPC and says it CANNOT be combined with any other offers. Thus is looks like only one of the two rebates will work. In fact Chiefvalue.com doesn't even mention the $70 dollar rebate anymore. Can anyone confirm any response from Samsung as to whether both coupons are VALID?

I would walk away from any Samsung rebates. I bought a 15" LCD monitor about 4 yrs ago and never received the rebate for only $30. So I thought to myself it might have gotten lost in the mail and gave them the benfit of doubt. However, I bought a retaill box DVD burner about 6 months ago and submitted a $10 rebate and this time I certified the mail. Guess what, till this date I have not seen their rebate. Great quality product, bad rebate offers.

How is the ghosting? One review I read says it ghosts the same as a 25ms LCD. But on the other hand, I have a supposedly 25ms LCD that doesn't ghost at all. It was not just me. I had another one, same model Dell 1702FP that ghosted like Casper!
