Samson SR850 vs Superlux HD-662F

I while back I asked about headphones. Now I am about to order them. I was going to get the SR850, but not being fully closed still bothered me. So I found the Superlux HD-662F / CAD MH310. Has anyone used them before and how our they? Also with the SR850 do you think my wife can hear me gaming at night while she sleeps right beside me or would they wake up an infant sleeping right beside me (infants wake up enough without my help). If not then I don't need to consider the closed one.

I did buy the Xonar DG to replace my Audigy 2 for the headphone amp and Dolby headphone (for games). Why do the SR850 and HD668b have different ohms if they are the same headphones/drivers? Now that I have a headphone amp, would one be better than the other? Or does it just not matter that much?

I can't speak for the HD-662F, since I haven't heard it. You'd probably have to ask this question on Head-Fi.

As for sound leakage, if you have them loud enough, the SR850s do leak enough that they'd probably bother others around you.

The Xonar DG should power both of these headphones easily.

Thanks. I have a thread at Head-Fi also now. Have you listened to the HD-669? Although I cannot find them for sale in the US online, so it may not matter. As for the SR850 would you say they would wake someone up at normal listening levels. Starting to lean towards closed headphones though.

I can't really answer that. "Normal" listening levels vary from person to person, as does how easily someone would wake up from headphone sound leakage.

I'm not 100% sure what your budget is, but you should also consider the Creative Aurvana Live! Many say they're some of the best headphones you can get under $100, and they have impressive frequency response measurements as well.
