Just got them today after reading over 700 page post over at another forum and some gaming headset info here. Most sites seemed to say the gaming headsets were subpar. Plus I did not want a mic sticking out on the side when just jamming out to tunes.
So far these headphones are very clear. Enough bass without overpowering the rest of the highs and mids. Not bad for under $100
