I just talked to a friend and he plans on buying a Samsung DLP from Sam's Club the 11th of this month I think. Well he said that they will be having a promotion of no payments or interest for 12 months and he also said Sam's Club has a 7 month return policy or something??? I highly doubt the return policy but does anyone know anything about this? He plans on getting the TV, keeping it for a few months then returning it and not be out of pocket any money.

Crazy talk or truth?

Your friend's an asshat for even having the idea. He's the type of person that encourages companies to have restrictive return policies.

Yep the reason costco had to update theirs. Of course even with that they are still the best IMO.

I don't see a 7 month return policy on it, only 30 days.

Our local Sam's Club's policy is 90 days, but was told managers will approve returns upto 1 years from the purchase date IF you have your original reciept. No reciept = no return.

A month or so ago I went back after 3.5 months to see if they'd give me the difference when MS lowered the price on their 360s... they refunded me the difference and told me if I had any other problems with it I could bring it back in the for another 8.5 months.

Pretty slick if you ask me.
