Was in Sam's the other day and saw ads for this card. I haven't applied yet, but I am planning on it.

You need a Sam's Club membership to apply, but the cash back rates are pretty sweet with no annual fee (except the Sam's Club membership):

"5% cash back on gas* at U.S. and Puerto Rico gas stations and on gas at Sam's Club (on first $6,000 per year in purchases, then 1% on purchases after) All gas stations; NOT JUST AT SAM'S

3% cash back on dining and travel*

1% cash back on other purchases*"

I have rotating 5% cash back cards (Chase, Citi, Discover), but the constant 5% back on gas will be nice to have! Supposedly, it will be a chip-and-sign card initially, but will become a chip-and-PIN.

Not a bad cash back, for fuel purchases. I've got a Chase Freedom card, and they have offered 5% cash back for fuel purchases twice this year (first quarter, January to March, and now 3rd quarter, July thru September). Always nice, when gas is costing (currently) ~$3.339/gallon, to get back $0.167/gallon in reward cash.

I guess they are trying to compete with CostCo's Amex now.

3% (4% if you have a business Tax ID) Cash back at U.S. gas stations and on gasoline at Costco up to $7,000 per year in purchases, (then 1%).
2% Cash back at U.S. restaurants
2% Cash back on eligible travel purchases, including at Costco
1% Cash back on other purchases, including at Costco

Being a part of the Amex family is well worth it for me though.
