I have a server downstairs that distributes internet to four other computers throughout the house...this morning, i was trying to hook up a g4 i borrowed from my grandpa to the internet, so i disconnected the cable from my regular computer, and plugged it into the mac...i messed around with a few settings, and no luck...the internet wouldn't work on the mac, so i switched the cable back...next, i try to go online, and none of the computers go online except for the server...aparently the server had settings messed up to ones i had done on the mac, idk how this happened. I have win server 2k3 enterprise running, and here's the configuration of my network connections: I have an onboard LAN on the mobo, and that's where the internet comes in to from the cable modem...Next, i have an internal router PCI card which I hook up the other four computers to. After that in Network connections I share the onboard LAN internet connection so that the others can use the internet. Both cards have automatic ip and automatic dns. I've tried everything I can think of, but i'm really stuck this time...My dad needs to use the internet for work, and i need it for school stuff...thx
