I'm having the same problems. P4C800-E Deluxe, 3.0GHz P4, 1GB Corsair TwinX DDR400, ATI AIW Radeon 9800 Pro. Board would not post, BIOS error code (1 long, 2 short beeps) indicates problem with Graphics card memory. I RMA'd mobo and AIW. 2nd mobo and 2nd AIW do exactly the same thing. Even tried a PCI Radeon graphics card today and same thing happens so I'm guessing it's not the AIW nor a low voltage issue on the AGP (some have said to bump the AGP voltage up 0.2v). A tech at my local computer hardware shop said he thought he heard a problem about board compatibility with a 3.0GHz processor and that I should try to flash the BIOS to the latest version. But since it doesn't like the PCI graphics card either, that's not possible. Sounds like others are having a similar problem. Anyone talked to ASUS? I've posted questions on their website but no aswers after almost a month. I'm beginning to get very frustrated with this mobo. Only other solution is to try a slower processor and maybe different memory or maybe an ABIT (hear that ASUS?????) mobo.

I have that motherboard, that cpu, that ram and I have an 9800 Pro. I have also had a TI4600 in the machine. My machine is very stable.

Here's what I would try. First disconnect everything except video. See if you can get into bios. If you can, up the voltage for the memory VDIMM to 2.75. Also turn off legacy USB.

If you can't get into even the bios that way and you have replaced mobo and video, I think you have a problem with the memory.

Once you get that far, you can start adding things to see if there is something else that is causing the problem.

The latest bios is 1014. Do you know what you have?
