I have an a7n8x Deluxe 1.04 PCB revision and the latest 1004 bios. I bought a radeon 9500 non pro hoping to softmod the thing but it refused to work in my comp. I also have an antec true power 380w PS. I uninstalled the nvidia drivers for my ti4200, installed the 3.5 catalyst drivers, rebooted, and got hit with a deluge of messages saying system files couldn't be opened due to hardware failure. Tried turning off agp 8x support and fast writes in the bios, also tried messing with the agp voltages but nothing worked. Omega drivers didn't work either. Popped the card into a friend's comp and it worked beautifully. Sapphire's tech support told me that the radeon 9500 doesn't like my motherboard or my power supply and that i need to get a 9700. Does anybody here know if this is true? Also, i returned the card and am getting a 9700 pro, do you think it will work in my system?
