Same computer name and share name but dual booting Windows 98 & 2K.

Can I possibly give the two OS the same computer name and share name and expect the other computer to continue connecting to the shared resources even when the computer dual boot between Windows 2000 and Windows 98?

yes... of course, with Windows 2000 you have control of your permissioning.

Yep, I do that right now on my computer. I have to share a printer and I use win2k and win98 on this machine, so I just use the same computer name and share name and it all works perfect
