Whenever I go to configure SAMBA, I get a "localhost 127.0.0.1 not found". What do I need to setup to get this working? I'm using RH 7.2, and have SAMBA, and SWAT installed.

Check to make sure localhost is in your hosts file. More information on what you are doing that is causing the error would be helpful.

Ok, in my /etc/hosts file I have 127.0.0.1 localhost localhost.localdomain set. I made a "lmhosts" file with localhost <hostname>.

Nevermind. :p I ended up configuring the smb.conf manually, and then installing LinNeighbourhood. Works great now! Just gotta figure out how to mount the Printer off the Windows PC.

best way.

I really hate how SWAT overwrites everything, wiping out any little notes youmay have in there.
