I got redhat linux7.1 (single boot) on my machine and It's networked to cablemodem and a laptop (win98) by a hub.
I heard about his "samba" thing that can make my desktop to see win98 machine..
Can somebody tell me where I can get this?? Is it hard to configure it?
Ah, and one more thing is.. I'd like to run some windows software on my linux machine with wine. Do I need windows installed on this machine to run wine? Or do i need fat32 partition?

Samba should be on your Linux CD. I've not tried configuring it, so I don't know how hard it is to do. You can get Wine from here.. And yes, I think it helps to have Windows installed, so Wine can use the Windows DLLs instead of it's own imitation ones (that's what I've been told, but I make no gaurantees as to the accuracy of those statements :)).
