i was always hesitant to get their seasonal brews...but last night at the market i said what the heck! hmm now im curious to try their winter brew!

im starting to drool @ work thinking about it. it has this wheaty yet lemon taste to it...a cleaner tasting hefenwiezan or however you spell it

Wow, it's back already? This was really good. And yeah you're right in drawing the comparisons to the Hef, since it's made from wheat. If you like this you'd probably like Hefeweizen with a squeeze of lemon (I like Pyramid, or if you can't find it, umm, Michelob makes one I think). This is technically a white ale... or weiss bier. The only other one I've been able to find was by Lost Coast Brewery, called "Great White".

Also, many of the seasonal summer beers have lemon in them.

Cherry wheat is VERY good, but it's pricy. I pay at least $7 for 6.

It's kind of hard to find too, most stores don't stock it.

Last years batch of octoberfest was SUPURB. My roomates tried it and hated it, so I got the rest of the case to myself

May have to stop and get some. The winter was pretty tasty. I like the Pete's seasonal as well. Just got done with a mix of Saranac (SP?) beers. They had some really tasty ones. My parents got me some german beer for my b-day that was called something-hacker. That stuff was good.

Sam Adams has some OK beers, but by no means is it the best American brewer.
