Why are you not cool? This is a legal substance, nimrod.

Indeed. I had a friend who was pulled over for speeding and he had 2 ounces of Salvia leaves in the passenger seat (thats 2 big bags for the visual weight-impaired). The cop thought he hit the jackpot with a marijuana dealer and snatched his bags up and called it in. To make a long story short, he ended up having to hand the bags back to him after making claims that "A drug bust like this would put him away for a long long time"... heh.

And.. There is nothing morally wrong with altering your state of consciousness so long as you do it in a manner that does no harm to anyone. Alcohol, for instance, alters your state of consciousness...

Not to mention alcohol is a lot more physically dangerous than most substances mentioned here. I would rather switch alchohol for bud in proabition right now.

Did you learn that in DARE?

I'm surprised, I thought you were a little more open minded than that.

It seems to be natural human tendancy to alter your normal state of conciousness. Whether it's through alcohol, tobacco, coffee, or "drugs". Unless you've never done any mind-altering substance, you can't really say such a thing, lest you be a hypocrite. :p

Eli, sorry, but I'm biased on this subject. I've watched 3 little kids who live here in town struggle with their mom and dad's addictions. They're smart kids, but have serious issues.

I edited my post to read abusers, rather than users to clarify better.

Ah, yes, I understand.

That's basically what I was getting at. It's all in how you use it. For every alcoholic, there are probably 10 responsible users. But you only hear about the woman beating, child raping kind, so it gets stuck in your head like that. Same with any other drug.

Although, there are drugs that are so addicting that it's virtually impossible to be a functional member of society if you're using, so those are obviously a little more dangerous.

The thing is, we go about it the wrong way. It isn't the drugs fault. Whatever happened to personal accountability?

If you're prone to becomming an addict, then you will probably become an addict unless you address that area of your life.

The key is education.. at all levels. It starts with the parents. By lying to our kids, we're just creating another generation of drug users amongst the middle-upper class. It doesen't take long for most teenagers to learn most everything they learned in DARE is either stereotypical or just plain false. The ghettos are a different matter, however..... And that's just one aspect of the problem.

We can throw all the people we want into prison, and post a cop on every street corner.. you can't stop it. It's apart of us. We've evolved with it. You think cave men didn't smoke pot? :p

Heh.

I've tried the dried leaf before and it didn't do too much, just kind of a stoned feeling for a few minutes and then it wore off and I was back to normal. I suppose using the extract would yield quite different results. You can also extract pure Salvinorin crystals from the stuff which I imagine to be quite potent.

It was like one of those funhouse things where your walking through that spinning tunnel but this tunnel was like in my mind and I was just sitting in the passenger seat while my mind was in that tunnel. It was very weird and is probably the hardest trip anyone can have for 30 seconds.

I still had some left because we split what we didnt finish and so I did it at home. This trip was weird, it was like there was someone there with me, an old lady and for some reason I got the vibe that she was the creator of this drug and I got sent to her world for a while. And I also felt like I was getting pushed around because when I was walking it didnt feel normal unless I leaned to the right slightly so I started walking in a circle while leaning to the inside and it was f*ckin trippy. I think maybe some old witch made this plant and just started spreading the seeds, lol.

Seriously did you create this thread so that you could feel welcome and like you fit in? I hope you didnt drive on this high. My brother was paralyzed by drivers high on marijuana.

BTW if the weed was affecting you that much it was probably spiked with something else.

Oh also it is speech. You should probably rephrase this "what I saw was I was." "your walking," you're walking but who is paying attention. Clockwise is one word.

Google works well in this situation... as far as finding it locally, try a head shop.
