Salvage DIVX/AVI file?

One of my bros was uploading a step performance to me, it's off by 7 KB, 782136 when it should be 782,143. I don't want to ask him to reupload it, is there a way to salvage it?

try a program called Divfix

If DivxFix doesn't work, try splitting the audio/video with VirtualDub and re-encoding it.

Thanks guys! DivFix didn't work, so I used VirtualDub, wasn't sure how to split and recompile it, but in the help section, it mentioned something about direct stream copy so I just did that and saved it as a new file...
