I'd look at clean wholesale for statstical purposes, and offer half that. Salvage title/rebuildables are good for two things:

A: Driving the car into the ground
B: Washing the title through another state and reselling it as clean

Ask your bank,
many will not loan money to you for a vehicle with Salvag title.

KKb trade in value is 9400 and i saw one sold at ebay 11000 on clean title. So, i think 7k will be okey.

I just know dealer will not accept any trade in on salvage titles.

I second the black book. Find out what kind of accident it was in & damage it took. Take the car in to a mechanic to have it look over specially the frame.

aligment....hmmm?

Alignment, mis the "N". They toll acceident on back, but car pull on right when drive on freeway at 80mph.

Salvage cuts the value a LOT. I definitely wouldn't do $8,000 on it. More like $4,000-6,000.
