Salsa... so HOT!

I normally get the "name brand" salsa when I buy it, but this time I decided to try the store brand, since it was on sale. This Safeway brand Southwest Salsa is really good! What kind do you like?

Also, does anyone know if salsa is still outselling catsup as a condiment here in the U.S.?

Yuck....most salsa is crap. Fresh Pico de Gallo is so much better. There are a few salsas I've picked up from Whole Foods that were OK, though.

Territorial House salsa is really good, but I don't think you can buy it everywhere in the country.

505 salsa is better, but I'm pretty sure it can only be bought here.

I hate the other larger name salsa(s), they suck. Like Old El Paso or Pace, to many onions in it,
not enough chili.

The best salsa is at a little mexican restaurant near my house. I don't think it's a chain or anything though. It might be the only one, I'm not sure.

We always make our own salsa. Tomatoes, onion, cilantro and chile serrano, or chile habanero if we want it a little hotter.

I like Tostitos salsa.. Medium or hot please 😀

I really miss their Roasted Garlic salsa.

Never had it! just the medium and hot Salsas.... and the not so desirable cheese dip.. I much prefer the salsa. 🙂

I like several salsas, and I like it hot. I grow a very very hot variety of habanero with my orchids. I chop some up and add that to my salsa WOO HOO!

The salsa at Chipotle... ridiculously hot. It isn't so hot if you eat once you get your buritto, but if you let it sit for a while, it solidifies into this pepper looking stuff and becomes fire on food🙁

It makes you breathe, burp, and sh!t fire for 3 days😱

best salsa I ever had was Calido Chile Traders Carribbean salsa. Man that stuff was good...too bad they don't make it anymore 🙁

On the Border has some good salsa.

Yeah, I really like the texture of their salsa. 🙂

My favorite is the "homemade" salsa from a nearby deli store, the name of which I currently can't remember. 😱

That sounds great, where/what is Chipotle?

Papasitos (or whatever their Mexican restaurant is called..) had some damn good Salsa.
Papasitos is friggin awesome. Their fajitas are the best I have ever had, bar none. I have to eat there every time I go to Houston.

Is Papasitos a chain or a stand-alone? If a chain, are they limited to Texas?
