at some point you still have to ask the girl out though. I think either way works fine, either meeting them through friends, or by convincing them on your own. I think finding a girl through a friend is the cheap and easy way out. I dont know why, but I'd rather find her on my own.

That is rude and wrong, and you are not being a very good friend if you do that. That is, unless she knows that this is the reason you are hanging out with her. (to meet her hot friends)

Uh, sir...if you are familiar with sales. Um. Like. Referrals are really sucessful, you know. Not that it should be your motive with female platonic friends, but women understand women better, and if they know you and they know another girl that they think would be good with you...give it a shot. And it's not a cheap way out, necessarily. Perhaps that would've been the only way you would have met her/him.

What if you enjoy the company of your friend but also wish to meet other girls? If you friends are really your friends then she should be willing to help you out. And in terms of asking girls out and stuff, establish the possibility of a relationship early. Then, after you confirm that the girl isn't repulsed by you or anything, start flirting. Then after awhile, asking her out to do something should be a piece of cake. Atleast thats how it works for me.
Edit: Oh yeah, having your friend put in a good word for you and mentioning the possiblity of a relationship goes a long way. Girls really take the advice of other girls.

A salesman isnt a good salesman if he has to rely on referrals alone to convince a customer to buy his product.
I agree referals are helpful though. Again, I think the bigger problem is, that I wouldnt want to 'use' my female friends, to get other females. But maybe I should ask them sometime if they know someone who'd be good for me. And I should make sure that they know "hot appearances" is in the list of requirements.
(because a lot of times females try to hook u up with one of their average looking friends (cuz they feel bad for her cuz she doesnt get asked out much, or something)
