Thaw them (while sealed) under cold running water and then give them a good rinse. I like to sprinkle some Tony Chachere's creole or blackening seasoning on them and then toss them on the grill.

Thaw 'em first then:

Mix about 1tbsp of melted butter/margarine and 1tbsp of lemon juice (just use equal parts, not a lot of either)

Put salmon in a baking pan (use foil as liner for easy cleanup) and pour lemon/butter mixture over filet

Sprinkle some Garlic Salt and Lemon Pepper seasoning on the filet (I'll guess 1/4 tsp, but, just lightly cover the filet basically)

optionally top with chopped green onion

Bake on 375 for ~20minutes.

I usually serve with brown rice and some green vegie, asparagus or broccoli.

Yup, that's a good way to do it. Add some dill for even added flavor.

Or do the same thing and grill the bitch with some onions...absolutley delicious.

My personal favorite:

Honey and Soy Glazed Salmon

1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 to 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
4 (6-ounce) pieces salmon fillet, skin removed
Black sesame seeds, for garnish

In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, lime juice, water, and mustard. In a small non-stick skillet, heat oil over moderately high heat until hot but not smoking and cook salmon 2 to 3 minutes on each side, or until golden and just cooked through. Transfer salmon to 4 plates. Add honey mixture to skillet and simmer, stirring occasionally, until it reaches a glaze-like consistency. Pour the glaze over salmon and sprinkle with black sesame seeds.

one of my favorite recipes that is super simple:

Salmon-don

what you'll need:

salmon
salt
pepper
olive oil
white rice (or brown, or whatever kind you like)
ponzu - if you don't have ponzu, you can use soy sauce and lemon juice.
daikon - that big white radish thing
nori - dried seaweed (either the plain or seasoned kind)

directions:

cook some white rice. while that is cooking, start cooking the fish

in a cast iron pan:
drizzle a little bit of olive oil
sprinkle some salt and pepper to the salmon filet
add your salmon filet, skin side up (not sure if this matters but you'll see why in a min) to the pan and evoo
after that side gets cooked a bit, flip it over *start grating the daikon*
cook the "skin side" until it gets crispy and yummy
take the fish out of the pan and onto a plate
"fork" out the meat so it comes out chunky and flaky. chop up the crispy salmon skin too.
get a bowl of your hot white rice
add the salmon flakes on top
add the grated daikon on top of that
drizzle some ponzu on top of that
sprinkle your nori flakes and voila! good eats.

Thaw, put skin down onto baking dish. Smear a relatively thin layer of spicy mustard all over the filet. Cover with tinfoil so it doesn't dry out, and bake for 25 minutes at 375. This is how I always cook mine and never get complaints from guests!

If the guest complain, he/she would probably never get invite for dinner again.
