salliemae.com not loading correctly in IE8

We have users reporting sporadic issues when trying to load https://www.salliemae.com in IE8 on Win7.
The page would either not load at all, or the login screen would be blank.
Usually it requires a refresh to fix it.

Does anyone have similar issue?

This seems to be isolated to IE8, and not Firefox, but we've tried changing bunch of settings, even resetting IE8 to default, and nothing worked.

No problems on multiple computers here. Are all of the people with problems on the same physical network? If so, do any of them have portable machines that they can take to a different network such as at home or a coffee shop or book store to see if the problem persists there? (just to rule out the possibility of a firewall or policy problem on the network)
