Around 8 months ago I bought a laptop here in the UK which was advertised to have an output that I realized it doesn't actually have.
I haven't had a chance to use the laptop much, so I only realized it recently.
I would like to ideally swap it for a laptop of similar price to what I paid, with the advertised feature.
Unfortunately the manager at the time I went into the store refused - claiming the Sales Act stated a time limit of "reasonable length" (which he later interpreted to be 6 months).
Im not expecting a favourable answer, but can anyone confirm/disprove this claim? Is there any chance of being able to return it?
Thanks
Joe
edit: I have both proof of purchase and the false advertising.
