They're only sending this out to people on their e-mail list.

Simply the best luggage on the planet and impossible to find discounted under ordinary circumstances.

Yes, I know, even on sale Tumi is so pricey it makes your eyes tear up, but there's a reason why people line up to pay retail for this stuff. Suffice it to say, anything you buy here will likely be the last one you ever need.

Yep, because they have too much money and want to make sure everyone knows it. Sorry, had to say it. :p

Seriously though, my dad gave me a Tumi garment bag that was given to him during his sales years. Is it a nice bag? Yes. Is it worth the $1500 he told me it retailed for? Absolutely not. He told me it had a lifetime warranty by the way.

I think I've been officially pwned! You're right, that's certainly one other possible reason!

Still, you have to admit, Tumi makes damn fine luggage.

Oh I agree with you on the quality. The only thing I would complain about in that garment bag is it's price and weight. Even empty it's heavy. However, it's made of very heavy material and has huge zippers. Tons of pockets too. To be honest I was a little worried about someone taking it because it's got a big 'Tumi' tag on it. :p

Maybe, but God help you if you try to get a repair done...I had a bad zipper on a 2yr old overnight bag, brought it into the GCT Tumi store and they looked at me like I was carrying a severed head. After about 10 minutes of "I really didn't break it on purpose...no seriously..." they reluctantly accepted it.
