$5.15/hr x 40hr/week x 50week = $10,300

$10,300 - (10,300 x 0.25 (Government raping) = $7725

$7725 - ($485/month rent x 12 months) = $1905

$1905 - ($200/month utilities * 12 months) = -$495

In the hole $495 and I have yet to factor in tuition, food, insurance, gas, etc.

that sucks, you should find a better job. minimum wage blows

Thanks for reminding me that I used to have a very good job, then got laid off. Now I get to go back to school and become a teacher, making significantly less than I used to make.
Why become a teacher?

Because I love to teach people, and money isn't really a concern anymore, since my fiance is very well paid. I was planning on switching to teaching at some point in my life, but it just came sooner than I expected.
