Not to burst your bubble but since you indicate that you cannot hire or fire in the other thread, you auctually do less than most management positions.

You should demand a 10% increase. Plus the head of the drunk employees as a 1 time bonus.

No, I am the HR dept. Dismissing people for performance is an awful thing to do and should not be taken lightly. They are people, they have families and responsiblities. If you want to be a good manager dont relish in others misfortune, consider yourself lucky that you have the capacity to be a good employee.

IMO a good manager does the best he can with what he has.
