Hands down Roy, by far, not even close. This is just for their playoff run I presume. Regular season of course its Sakic. But if its who is the most important to the team, its Roy.

To all those who are confused: he's talking about the NHL (hockey) MVP ballot.

Personally, I wanted to New Jersey to win.

But if I had to pick, I'd say Roy. Anybody who can shut the Devils' offense down like that deserves to be MVP.

It was a close call but Roy deserved it. He was the difference in that series, as well as the St. Louis one. Sakic had a great year though, and I'm glad he won the Hart. Nothing against Mario, who is showed that he is still the best player, but you can't give the Hart to someone who only played half a season.

Roy by an inch. I'm not sure Sakic stole any playoff games single-handedly, but Roy sure did!

Roy. The rest of the team played pathetically(even Sakic) at times and if it wasn't for Roy the Avs would have been out the first round. Some teams have defencemen, the Avs have Roy. They'd suck without him.
