Windows version is not on Steam, its on the Windows Store. Which I like but dont love. Lots of people complaining they didnt save it for the next gen consoles and make it look REALLY good, but thats life.
All reviews indicate they didnt add any completely new game features, merely improved visuals. So its up to you whether you need to spend money on this or not.
No rumors or promises regarding the other titles in the series.

Surprised it wasn't an Epic exclusive. Then again paying for exclusive distribution of a remastered game that doesn't seem to have much hype does seem like a Microsoft move.

Based on how little they "remastered" it, not worth the price, and in the video showing the differences I'm not sure that I wouldn't even prefer the original graphics as the realistic lighting looked out of place (where its like it doesn't fit the rest of the visuals).

I think there are rumors they're remaking the 2nd game, which that could be interesting since I never really played through it (after seeing some say it was by far the best I tried, but its waaaaaay too janky so I gave up on it).

No idea what they could do to make the series interesting to me again. I liked what they did with 4 and GooH, but I was also bored by them. If they're gonna have all the collect-a-thon stuff they need to make it a lot more interesting/rewarding.
