Saints Row 3 Kneecappers

How do you get the kneecappers to work? I have them on one of my cars but I don't know how to engage them. I can't see anything in the options that says how to use them.

When you start driving they automatically come out.

Yea just drive. They're really annoying imo cause whenever your remotely close to another car their tires explode. Makes a really annoying sound.

You do have to Buy them at a Garage.

Once you buy them they should work....unless you bought something else Wheel related afterwards, possibly. IIRC, in SR2 Spinners replace Knee-Cappers.
