I'm watching this movie right now and some of the scenes look really familiar to another newer movie. Is there a remake of this movie or another movie based on this one?

there is a 2005 movie called sahara whwere they are searching for treasure in africa but end up getting mixed up in some huge poisioning disaster by the "bad guys". thats not what i'm thinking of though.

heh, actually it is called Sahara also, made in 1995. thats the one i was thinking of.
