Which one would you choose and why?

Which brand provides better support?

On a lighter note, should I remove the branding or keep it?

Noteable differences:

The Sager has better CPU and GPU. How much better is it compared to the ASUS?
Sager does not have a optical drive. (can always buy a cheap external optical drive).

The ASUS has the second HDD Bay for SSD upgrade + optical drive and 4GB more RAM.

I would go for the Asus for the price point, at 1089 you cant beat that, the extra .2Ghz for the CPU wont matter that much, and the GPU wont be that much faster (maybe 10-15% at most for the sager).
