Sage TV for Linux - How is it?

I installed a copy the other day for a guy and there were no issues that I saw. It was a streamlined PC with only one tuner though...

Has anyone had experience with Sage Linux version using HD tuner cards?
How does it do with xvid/divx and other AVI's?

My MCE box just seems to die every 6 months and I'm tired of rebuilding and ghosting it...
