The installation was halted, as it has asked that my system XP-Pro w/ sp2, has asked that I permit "File and print Sharing" How do I do this, and where is it located.

Click the Start button > Help and search for "file and print sharing" and they have guidance on how to enable it.

I tried to chane, and found that I have 2 connectionsto local area connection. One is active and the other states that the cable is unplugged.
The connected one is connected to NVIDIA nForce network. The unplugged is connection is unplugged to 3Com 3c920b-EMB. If Ideleted the both connections, would rebooting find the correct connection??

Your motherboard must have dual-lan. If you delete the connections & reboot, Windows will redetect and set them up, but no guarantees if it'll enable file & print sharing.

Right click on the nvidia one & go into properties and there should be an item called File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks. If it's unchecked, check it. If it's not there, click install >> service (may have to go Have Disk then type in c:\windows\inf)
