And as the Flamefest takes everything off topic . . .

Not a single serious comment about William Safire fabrication a false inaugral count
to boster his story about Bush's being in the Top Five of Twenty ?

Safire proved he's a paid shill with this lack of honesty and kissing up to Dubya.

Safire's retiring from his column, guess he'll have to go and fabricate fasle data
for William Kristol's the Weakling Standard (Standard - isn't that a brand of toilet)

Fitting analogy, isn't it ?

Well I hope they fire him just like CBS fired Dan Rather for his fabrication.

Oh, wait...

You specifically quote him saying one thing. You then turn around and say that he said something completely different. I didn't hear the speech, nor have I read the transcript, but I'm not sure how what CAD said translates into your statement.

OK I see where what you're saying, so I can explain that part

"Or those that don't want to hear anything positive about America and our ideals."

was his statement... now using basic logic this is equal to:

"Or those that want to hear things negative about America and our ideals"

now from that statement to "you're either with us or against us" I admit is a bit of a stretch, but is it really? I mean how presumptuous is it to basically imply if you didn't like what the President said in his speech that you only want to hear negative things about America or are basically against our country?

How big of a stretch it is depends on what was said in the speech, so I can't help you so much there. :p

Geez...can someone tell these morons the election is over, that they can stop propagandizing now?

That works both ways...

I think the speech was one of the best, but top 5? maybe. I think it needs to soak in before one can put it in that category.

CsG
How can it soak in? It's already evaporated.

I'm sure it went in one ear and out the other for many folks...

CsG
Especially those who can tell bullsh!t when they hear it.

Or those that don't want to hear anything positive about America and our ideals.

Blowing smoke up our asses doesn't impress most of us.

Who said anything about impressing? I don't expect you bush-haters to be impressed but it's surprising to see you not embrace the ideals of freedom and liberty for all man-kind.

CsG

...through the barrel of a gun?

No.

We should use airplanes instead. They've been proven very effective at expressing the ideals of freedom and liberty.

You posed insulting rhetorical questions that were meant to accuse me of loving to see body counts rise. You are a despicable human being, CsG. Truly despicable.

A *real* man would apologize.

A *real* man would answer the questions.

CsG
Answer rhetorical questions that you *know* the answers to already? You're a real piece of sh*t.

So do I take that as "yes"s to my questions or "no"s? Are you even going to try to address them?

You have removed yourselves...from relevance anyway :) We are still free in this country despite attempts to take us in the other direction by the socialist and/or communist left(knows as the hard-left).

ELP - the guns are for the oppressors if it gets to that point. It doesn't have to and doesn't always come to that point. Again, trying to suggest that the only way to spread freedom is by using guns is asinine.
