Safety concious or OCD?

Drove by a park today that has a track for people to walk/run. I saw a guy jogging... he was wearing a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, wrist braces, and shin guards. He didn't look retarded, but I assume he could have just been mentally retarded and show no physical retardation. The funny thing was, when someone approached from the opposite direction, he'd move off the track onto the grass and run in place until the person passed, then he'd continue running. I'm tempted to go back and take pictures of him, lol.

In this manner, you won't offend him and he'll think YOU are the retard instead. However, if he truly is a retard, he'd respond in the same manner. And if he goes "awwww, sure I will", then he's just a nice guy who really hates pain. 😛
