safecastuninstaller.exe for turbotax... works?

this is probably semiold news but Ttax has released a uninstaller of the c-dilla stuff.

what you do is, after you uninstall the TT application via normal app removal procedure, you run their

.exe to also remove this safecast which otherwise would have remained on your pc... which was the original cause

of the complaints about TT2002.


anybody has tried TT and tried the removal already, does it completely revert your pc back to a clean slate??

nevermind, i see that it wil remove, but TT writes stuff to your sector 33 of your HD, so either you rewrite with a editor or copy what was in there and save to a file, then put it back when you are done with TT, or if you dont care, just leave what they wrote on your sector 33 alone.
