I'm selling my Iphone 3G on Ebay. Someone asked for the serial number. Is it safe to give it out?

They'd call AT&T and ask if this serial number has been reported stolen. AT&T will tell them nothing.

You can, however, spoof phone duplicates if you have the phone's serial number. Dont' give it out, it's pointless and potentially bad news. If they want it, they can buy it and find out when they get i.t
