1.9v will kill that chip in a matter of weeks to months most likely, I'd back it down a bit since usually the T-Bred B's will hit within a 100-150mhz of there top stable speed with 1.85v or less.

I don't know if I would go that far. I think I'd agree that @ 1.9v you are shaving a few years off the ~15yr life expectancy. :light::lips:

dinde, what kind of cpu and case cooling are you using to achieve 41C?

Thats pretty high. Anything above 1.8 is risky. But its sweet 2509mhz

MIne does 2403 at 1.76v.

well, im a wuss. so i backed it off to 1.65v and 2360 (about) mhz not worth the extra 150. for cooling, i have 2 120mm panaflo l1a's (1 front 1 back)
80mm panaflo l1a in the psu and slk-900 w/ 92mm panaflo l1a. :)

2360mhz @ 1.65v??!! that's pretty damn good, imo. is that prime stable? you could probably run in the 2.4ghz range easily with less than 1.85v then.

i just put on prime now, and im goin out for dinner. but i was playin ut2003 for 2+ hours with no probs. and i know drewdogg, i thaught that too. but i had to bump my voltage up to 1.9 to even get it really somewhat stable. anyways, more testing after food. :)

people have been running these chips at high voltages with water, or other "extreme" cooling. unless your temps are very low i wouldn't run at higher than 1.85.

Most say 1.85V is good, but to be a little safer I usually like to stay around 1.8V although I have ran at 1.85V.Get your FSB up there and lower your multiplier and let it fly.Try 11 or 11.5 at 200-210 FSB.You will notice it feels faster too.The highere the FSB the better if your Mobo can handle it.

Has any1 tried the temp readings of Speedfan.

Asusprobe read my cpu temp while running prime95 @ 45C. Apparantly this is not the on chip temp sensor that is accessed.

Speed fan reads the on chip temp at 68C under prime. Frightning !
Is this "kewl"?

I cool this heater with a copper Thermaltake that sounds like a hair drier.

Can the new athlons also handle up to 96C or something ?
