Safe to put a 80mm fan on my Z560's?

Well I put a 80mm fan in the middle of the heatsink on my Z560's. It keeps the heatsink nice and cool. But I was curious could it cause damage or interfere with the sub somehow?
 
I dont think a 80mm fan on that massive heatsink will do much. I think it'd be better just to buy a large fan (for living rooms, you know) and blowing on it.

I mean, the only way that sub will pop if you really crank it loud for long periods of time.
