Safe to mix ram types?

hey there,

right now i have 2 sticks of pc100 ECC siemens ram. i want to order some ram from crucial and was wondering if i need to get pc100 ECC again, or if i can get regular pc100. thanks!

The ECC RAM will run in non-ECC mode, so if you don't need ECC, then you should be okay with mixing the two types. (And save some $$ in the process)

Added suggestion,

Just make sure the ram you buy is compatible with your mobo ... if you have an intel chipset ... do not get high density ram, as Intel Chipsets can not handle it.
