Safe to eat whey protein that's been opened?

So i bought a 10 lb of Dymatize Elite Whey (chocolate) the stuff tastes great. anyway, when i opened the UPS box the powder was all over. I took out the package and it was literally leaking powder. the box was sealed i opened the package and noticed that the plastic bag inside has a cut to the side where the powder was spilling out from. The company i ordered from said i can use as much as I want of this until they ship me out another one but is it safe for me to use since it's opened?

if they're shipping a replacement then just wait for the replacement. who knows what kinda nonsense caused the original package to break.
