Help.....im trying to gain some free space to make my computer run a little smoother on Windows XP Pro.........anyway.......I was looking thru some stuff and I stumbled upon the stupid temp folder that is 2.09GB big!!!
Isn't that REALLY uneccesary??........actually its C:\windows\temp\sys32\ that is 2.09GB
when i looked under it, there were exe files to every single game i knew...........and i haven't installed a single game yet cause I just upgraded to XP!!!
When I run the exe files, nothing happens......

IS IT SAFE TO DELETE EVERYTHING IN THIS FOLDER???

Unless you install stuff in there yourself for whatever reason, the whole point of that folder is that it is for "temp" stuff. I delete it whenever I remember to check it and have never once had a problem.

Should be. If you that concerned you can rename the folder or move the contents somewhere for a day or two, if the nothing bad happens, delete away then...
