Do you think its would be safe to but a Nforce4 Board now? Or should I wait to a Revision 2 comes out? Are there any known problems with the first version of the Nforce4 Boards?

I would buy the DFI if I had the chance for any nf4....

Look at AT's review in the Motherboards section.

Let's put it this way, DFI broke all kinds of SLI motherboard overclocking records in Ananadtech's review. ;) I'd definitely go for the DFI SLI board.

Well, it depends, are you going to overclock and/or run SLI?

If you are, then I would wait, except for the DFI that is. If you're going SLI, I'd wait until its matured more (and prices and availability are more stable).

If you're not going to do either of those, I think that nearly any nForce4 board should be fine, they all seem pretty mature (factor that into the nforce3 Ultra boards as being beta testers pretty much).

get a DFI when the availability increases and the prices fall a little bit.

what do you mean by rev. 2 boards? if it is the same nf4 chipset then the only differnce will be what tweaks the motherboard manufacturers make to the design or bios. There will be no drastic changes made if the chipset is the same. The dfi performs at the top of the class as it is plus it has overclocking options never even heard of before like 4.0v vdimm without a volt mod.

I'm still waiting.

I've been watching Asus.
I'm expecting some new NF4 boards soon (NF4 Ultra & NF4), & with any luck a revised NF4 SLI (A8N SLI rev 2.0? A8NX SLI?)

Either that or they are going after the big cheese (Intel's NF5)
