What's the maximum temperature safe for operation in HD 5670 Sapphire?

If any one has an idea then please don't feel shy :$

For any graphics card, id say 90 Celsius(~195 Fahrenheit) is max in my opinion i would let any gpu go(When it reaches 105 celsius(221 Fahrenheit), it (should) throtles), and i prefer to keep the gpu temperature under 80 Celsius(~175 Fahrenheit), when the gpu is stressed(Gaming etc.) And for idle temperatures, something under 50 Celsius(~120 Fahrenheit), but i prefer 30 celsius(~85 fahrenheit)

There might be some grammar mistakes in the post, (because it's not my native language), and we use metric system here so the Celsius comes from that. Yay, my first post :)

Welcome to the forums laamanaator! Pretty much everyone uses Celsius when reporting gpu/cpu temperatures so don't worry about that. I also agree with the rest of your post. It will vary from generation to generation a little bit, but laamanaator's post is very good advice to follow in general and in your case specifically.

for the 5000 series I would think keeping under 80 is a good thing, but it will work at much higher temps...
