i read on Aces that running over 1.65 V on a Northwood can literally kill it within days

for those of you that have a NW plz post

the reason i am asking this is because i find aceshardware a reliable site

would you say the same thing if anand made this claim?
 
I believe up to 1.7V it's very safe with stock cooling and over that you should get a better cooler. Once I get my CPU from Gateway (if ever), 1.7V will be my max. Can't wait for a silent system for once 😀
