We were unpacking groceries in the kitchen tonight and I dropped a bottle of blue, alcohol-based hair gel. The top flew off and the stuff shot out in clumps everywhere. It was fairly easy to clean up: I took a dry towel and wiped up the clumps, and then used plain water to "rinse" the affected areas.
I am a bit worried though, because I have two cats. I know this stuff is toxic to them, but at this point, most of everything has dried. I didn't use any soap or anything like that to clean it... how do I know I've cleaned it enough to protect the cats?
Thanks.
