Alonzo wasn't able to go to his grandmothers funeral but his entire family and friends went. She was sick and dying when he came back, only to find out about her death when he got home.
His family and friends were on their way home to California after having attended the funeral in Texas and had already made it to California but they had to make a pitstop on the shoulder of a highway.
The shoulder was rather small and thin.
A tractor trailer for some reason did not see them or could not avoid them and totally obliterated the last car of the convoy.
In the Car were his parents and appearantly his two sisters and a brother.
Father died instantly, mom appearantly died later that day after being in critical condition, and the brothers/sisters are appearantly on the virge of death.
I can't give any more info.
I knews this guy. My uncles are great friends with him. One of my Aunts and her husband are his pasttors. He is a really cool guy and a soldier to bat.
I was speechless when I heard.
It is jsut seemingly to awful to put into words.
