Sadly, Winter is coming

40F this morning @ 7:15am. It did turn out to be a beautiful sunny day in the low to mid 60's. Summers are pretty short up here, but I sure don't miss the heat of the deserts or the humidity on the east coast. Snow and cold don't bother me too much.

That should be us in a month or so from now. It's cool the first time, but after the 4th day of having to clear snow off the car, it gets old fast. 😛

I'll still take that over the 100F's that people in the states get though.

The heat does suck but I'll be sunbathing under the most gorgeous sun/weather in mid-February while your naughty bits are frozen in a block of ice.

It is a human trait to want what we don't/can't have. It's summer now and most of us want some relief. Wait for a few months and those freezing in a block of ice will be wanting a bit of suntan lotion and a Margarita while laying out under a beautiful February sun in the south.

Yup... fully agree with this.

Every year in January, even though it doesn't get that cold, I wish it were June; and every year in July/August, I wish it were January.

To be honest, I'd be happy if the high temp was 70F all year long, but I don't foresee myself moving to San Diego any time soon.
