Probably not safe for anyone with a weak stomach... and the sound might need to be turned down too.

Probably just the tip of the iceburg, but regardless of how it was done the world is much better with monsters like him not in any position of power...

This topic is no longer being discussed in a cool, tempered manner, but has evolved to name calling and personal flames. Time to lock it up.

One of the better reasons to invade Iraq. This is not new, but if we showed enough videos of Saddam doing evil things to people, they will realize what we did was the right thing. What is done is done, now it is time to pack our bags and go home. That money could be used elsewhere, like trying to build better weapons. I am not of the opinion that government should have widespread social programs, so use that money for anything but them.

The world is a much better place without Saddam. If only we could have a real war on terror. If only we could.

Not to the tune of over 2000 American lives. It wasn't our job to liberate the Iraqis, it was their own. Come on, it's not as if the American public gives a flying fsck about Iraqis in the first place.

The ends don't always justify the means. His head on a platter is and never will be worth the loss of 1 American life. Could have been carried out much, much differently and at a much lesser cost of American lives and taxpayer dollars.

Sorry, it is the duty of an American to protect and foster freedom where it does not exist. An American is not a geographical ideal, it is grounded in freedom and the defense of such. Freeing even a single Iraq was worth it if you ask me.

That is why people join the military. To not only protect us but to protect the very ideals we stand for.

That sure is a lot of bull you're shoveling. I'd believe it if it held true on anywhere other than Iraq. Did we stop the war in the DR Congo that killed three million? Have we gone in and wiped the LRA off the face of this earth? Shall I go on?

Now let's get the rest of the world to fall in line. Fire up the draft and let's go kick some butt, it's our patriotic duty. At least so says Mr. Dollar sign here.

It is? Then why didn't we go to Rwanda? Why was our intervention in Kosovo ridiculed by members of the current administration?
I was under the impression that our military was to defend our country and uphold the constitution, not invade other countries no matter how much we dislike them.

I wonder if a video from al jazera (sp?) showing Bush giving speeches about WMDs on one side and dead women and children on the other side would go over as well with people that spout "spreading freedom" BS? Inventing new and ever changing reason for Iraq is the way of the right, now they are humanitarians who want to save the world.. if it saves them face.

I watched #1 and part of 2.

I choose not to watch the others - I fail to understand how any human being can treat another like that....:brokenheart:

All these people are someones son or daughter - imagine one of these things happening to your son or daughter.

Please note that I'm speaking of just the videos - not of a race of people or a government.

You mean, people other than you? Thanks for explaining why OTHERS are willing to make the sacrifices required of GIs.

QFT. That is why this type of poster never gets my respect. I can't take anyone who lets others take it on the chin FOR their grand vision seriously.

I wonder if the same people exhibiting disgust were saying the same things of the stuff that came out of Abu Ghraib, Gitmo, etc.? Or the as-yet-unseen photos and videos that the administration keeps fighting to keep from being made public.

Doubt it.

BTW, there are videos of similar events having taken place in Saudi Arabia. When does George invade them?

So, when are you going to join to fight against the evil tyrant that's taken over America?

Exactly. It was up to the Iraqi people to overthrow Saddam. Our invasion was only as good as our intentions. And our decision-makers' intentions were not formed because of attrocities like those shown in these videos. They cared more about the black oil than the red blood, as proven by the attrocities carried out by our own over there.

Holy crap. Those videos were awful.

Regardless of your stance on if it was America's place to get rid of Saddam, he deserves to fry.

BTW, I'd like to see some proof that those "260 mass graves" held "an estimated 400,000 bodies". Even Tony Blair backed off of that claim.

It was just a few bad apples. Just some like some college kids letting off a little steam.

You do realize that holding Saddam accountable for these peoples' heinous actions means our own President needs to be held accountable for the atrocities at Gitmo, Abu Ghraib, Falluja, etc.
